Over 12 years of direct experience with various control systems, in designing, programming, project lead engineering, commissioning engineering and in consultancy. We have written many Front End Engineering Designs (FEED’s), method statements, control narratives, designed directly from P&ID’s, FDS’s, DDS’s and test specifications for all industry types, including Petrochemical plants. Have lead many multi-disciplined project teams located globally to provide complete system solutions including on-site commissioning.
We have worked within various industries: pharmaceuticals, life sciences, heavy chemicals, specialty chemicals, oil & gas refineries & terminals; both as a vendor and as an end-user.

We have provided professional consultation to end-users and system integrators on: DCS system migration, control system architecture & hardware specification, cut-over strategies, project execution strategies, commissioning procedures, method statements for system swap-out, alarm handling & management, maintenance plans, I/O assignment, complex process reports, Abnormal Situation Management (ASM) based mimic design, cyber security practices, network architecture and many other aspects of control system including project quality control.

Our services cover the entire development process of consultancy & project management, development and engineering to management based on an SLA. We do this on a project basis or on secondment. YSF has growth ambitions to further expand the service.
